The pooch can come too!
Ever felt uncomfortable about checking the dog into kennels? Or felt the guilt worsened by the kids’ faces as they learn that Ruffles won’t be joining them on the family holiday?
We understand that a family holiday is not the same unless you are surrounded by the whole family, which is why dogs are always welcome at our UK locations. There is a small cleaning cost of £50 payable to ensure we clean up effectively after any mucky paws, wagging tails and shaggy coats in preparation for the next guest.
With all of our locations, guests are spoiled with breathtaking views, striking scenery and extensive open space for long walks. From beautiful countryside walks in the Yorkshire Dales to paddling in the sea on the Cornish coast, at the end of an exciting day outdoors, the whole family can relax together in their stunning home-from-home.
What’s more, at a selection of our pet-friendly locations, guests can even purchase special doggy hampers, so your pooch can feel as taken care of as you on holiday! These gorgeous hampers include items such as dog bowls, chew treats, tennis ball and launcher, pedigree gravy biscuits, a Frisbee, squeaky toy, dog blanket, dog towel and a dog feeding mat.
Guests can book doggy hampers online when they book a stay and our specialist Concierge team can help with all aspects of the getaway – from suggesting pet-friendly beaches to special requirements ahead of the holiday. Hamper prices range depending on the site and length of a stay. Our Yorkshire Dales residences even offers a Puppy Hamper for smaller paws for £25.

Meet our extended family...
My favourite retreat is Trewhiddle as I get to spend time on the beach stealing sausage rolls from people's picnic!!
I love going to the Yorkshire Dales with my family, although I have to stay on the lead when on site I would love to chase all the rabbits and get very excited when being walked around the retreat. My favourite walk is from our lodges along the Swale river into Richmond where I love to visit Richmond Castle - it's so good that its dog friendly! Woof!
My name is Daisy (although my owner sometimes calls me Daisy bo baisey) she’s a funny one! I joined my new family in 2014 and went on the most exciting holiday to the Llyn Peninsula. It was the most amazing place full of new friends including a pig. Below is a picture of me on the beach looking for some sheep to frolic with - I am sure I will find some soon!
Rokit & Daisy
Rokit has visited the Yorkshire Dales, Llyn Peninsula and Trewhiddle in his time as our original office dog. His favourite sites are in Cornwall and has a particular fondness for Trewhiddle, walking his land (as he naturally assumes he owns every field he enters…). The challenge with being so small is that he is not always able to keep up…Daisy also loves Trewhiddle - as a rescue dog, her first ever beach holiday in Trewhiddle was by far her favourite!
Zoe is the latest addition to Rokit & Daisy's home, having been rescued at the start of 2018. She is a Tibetan Terrier aged 15 months that has a very loving nature and loves to play with her new pooch pals. She hasn't been to one of our hideaways just yet, but is planning a trip to Trewhiddle for later this year with her forever family - watch this space!
