Weddings at Lews Castle

It was just the most perfect day and we want to thank you and the whole team at the Castle so very much for making it everything it was. I can’t express how grateful we are for how well looked after we felt throughout the whole process. Since setting our hearts on the venue and knowing that it was a relatively short engagement, we realised early on how much we needed your expertise to guide us through the planning. Everything right up until the day was so thoroughly organised and there was a distinct thoughtfulness to your every detail. We loved each part of our wedding, but it has to be said that as soon as we arrived at the Lews Castle there was a special sense that we were in safe hands and it allowed us to totally relax and really enjoy the occasion from that point on. All staff were immensely hard working and this meant that the dinner, bar, buffet and everything in between ran seamlessly and stylishly. We have had an awful lot of guests speak to us about how amazing the food was, so please send our high compliments to the chef(s)! I want to mention how much it meant to Kieran and I to get married at home, with us both being from the island. On top of this, we were so proud to show off Stornoway with its wedding venue that rivals any we saw on the mainland. The professionalism with which you and your staff operate does you and the island credit and we honestly can’t thank you enough for everything! Hopefully, we will see you again soon.
