A classic ‘chocolate‑box’ retreat, it effortlessly combines traditional heritage with modern comforts. With an exceptional range of on‑site amenities to enjoy, including a luxury wellness spa and children’s cinema, every stay is a truly relaxing and unforgettable experience. 

The Living Spaces

Welcoming both families and groups of friends, this cosy cottage comfortably sleeps 8 people with social spaces to gather and enjoy one another’s company:

• Kitchen: A traditional farmhouse kitchen forms the heart of the home complete with stone wall, beamed ceilings a roaring fireplace. This fully equipped space includes a Flavel dual range cooker, American style fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, Krups coffee machine, as well as a toaster, kettle and full range of utensils, glassware and tableware. For added comfort, guests are provided with complimentary coffee, tea, biscuits, bread, and milk throughout their stay.
• Dining: Alongside the kitchen table, perfect for morning coffee and pastries, there is a separate dining room where guests can enjoy evening meals or spend time playing games together.
• Living Room: Unwind in the lounge beside the crackling log fire and enjoy sumptuous sofas which invite you to relax after a busy day exploring the estate. One of the sofas converts into a double sofa bed, which is ideal for those travelling with teenager or older children.
• WC: There is a ground-floor shower room featuring a walk-in shower for added convenience. 

Sleeping Accommodation

The flexible sleeping arrangements include:

• Two comfortable double bedrooms, ideal for relaxing after a day exploring
• One flexible bedroom that can be configured as a twin or a double as required
• A cosy sofa bed in the living area for additional guests
• A first‑floor family bathroom with a bathtub and over‑bath shower
• Cots are available on request to make travelling with little ones easier (additional charges apply)

Luxury Amenities

Guests are provided with everything needed for a stress-free stay, including premium bedding, blankets, towel sets, dressing gowns, complimentary Borealis toiletries, and slippers.

Outdoor Living

• Private Garden: Enjoy a large private patio and garden, complete with a BBQ for alfresco dining.
• Parking: Convenient, free on-site parking is included just a short distance from the cottage.

Pet-Friendly Stays

Dogs are welcome in the cottage via prior arrangement and please note that additional charges do apply. Guest have access to acres of vast open space with incredible dedicated walks to keep your pooch entertained. Dogs are also welcome in the Terrace Restaurant and the Swinton Bivouac Café.

Swinton Country Club & Spa Access

Your stay includes exclusive daily access (2 hours) to the world-class Swinton Country Club & Spa facilities.

• Spa Times: 6:30am – 12:00pm and 6:00pm – 9:00pm (pre-booking required).
• Family Swim: Children can enjoy the indoor pool from 9:30am – 10:30am daily.
• Gym: Full access to gym facilities are available throughout your stay.
