A Grade II* listed Georgian country house designed by the celebrated architect Decimus Burton. Wind up the serpentine drive, over the ornamental bridge and past the lake and the honey coloured stone façade of Sibton Park is revealed.

The manor, built in 1827 by Robert Sayer, once Sheriff of Suffolk, to designs by the celebrated architect Decimus Burton, has giant Ionic pillars creating a dramatic portico entrance.

Once inside, take your pick from any number of receptions with classic Georgian proportions, such as the drawing room with its listed Chinese wallpaper, the bright morning room or formal dining room. Think open fires, fine antique furniture and chandeliers alongside discreet technology. Upstairs, it’s all about the twelve bedrooms with their Hypnos beds, eclectic furnishings and views through large sash windows. Eleven en suite marble-floored bathrooms have underfloor heating, luxurious fittings and most have roll-top baths as well as powerful showers with endless piping-hot water.

The dining room is a grand affair perfect for celebrations and bringing friends and family together for quality time. For more informal dining, there is the large kitchen with wood-burner, Aga and deer-antler chandeliers, or head downstairs to dine under candlelight in the vaulted corridor from where you will also find the gym, private cinema and games room. For outside dining under expansive skies, there’s the private courtyard or the large terrace overlooking parkland, grazing livestock and the lake beyond.

Outside, enjoy BBQs in the private courtyard, explore the estate on Pashley bicycles or hold your own tournament on the estate's tennis court open year-round. Try your hand at paddle boarding or rowing on the serpentine lake, learn more about the nature that calls this hideaway, home, with one of our Rangers or practice your shot with world-class clay instructors.

Sibton Estate is nestled in 5,000 acres across three river valleys in the county boasting some of the cleanest air in England, just a short drive from Suffolk’s celebrated heritage coast. Here, discover one of England’s finest piers at Southwold, enjoy famous fish & chips in Aldeburgh or make your own gin at the Adnams Brewery. For the adventurous, take to the waves in a rib from Southwold with Coastal Challenger, or visit Go Ape, Suffolk’s biggest tree top adventure.
