Step into the 17th century Suffolk ‘long barn’ nestled within the hamlet in the estate’s Arcadian pleasure grounds.

There’s a large open-plan kitchen & dining room with professional range, Art & Crafts furniture and doors opening up onto a private terrace. Think toasty underfloor heated flag stones, Nespresso coffee, Teapigs’ teas and vaulted ceilings.

The sun room opens to the master suite with its four-poster, eclectic furnishings and wet room with freestanding roll-top bath and powerful shower. Two further en suite bedrooms are found along a beamed corridor and both feature king-size Hypnos beds. Upstairs, the vaulted sitting room with its cosy armchairs and day beds (which can create extra space for two guests) has views across the parkland to ancient oaks plus its own adjacent wet room.

The Barn can be rented on its own or in conjunction with the Clockhouse, with which it discreetly interconnects to create a seven bedroom retreat. Outside, enjoy BBQs on the private terrace, explore the estate on Pashley bicycles or hold your own tournament on the nearby tennis court open year-round. Try your hand at paddle boarding or rowing on the serpentine lake, learn more about the nature that calls this hideaway, home, with our estate ecologist or practice your shot with world-class clay instructors.

Sibton Estate is nestled in 5,000 acres across three river valleys in the county boasting some of the cleanest air in England, yet just a short drive from Suffolk’s celebrated heritage coast. Here, discover one of England’s finest piers at Southwold, enjoy famous fish & chips in Aldeburgh or make your own gin at the Adnams Brewery. For the adventurous, take to the waves in a rib from Southwold with Coastal Challenger, or visit Go Ape, Suffolk’s biggest tree top adventure.
