Take your pick from lazy days on one of the many local sandy beaches, explore local attractions such as Newquay Zoo or simply ramble in the peaceful Cornish countryside along the stunning South West Coast Path; this contemporary holiday home is well located to discover the finest that North Cornwall has to offer.

Conveniently positioned on a quiet, residential street the property is a short stroll down to Porth Beach, which is the main hub for this small coastal community. Home to a variety of eateries including the quirky "Hole in the Wall" cafe-this is a great spot for a luxury hot chocolate on cooler days or ice cream and bottles of ginger beer in the summer. For evenings out the Mermaid Inn offers informal dining and drinks right on the beach-and we recommend booking during busy times!

Upon arrival at this fully renovated property, you are met by an inviting private garden which offers outdoor seating, where you can sit and enjoy a coffee as you take in the views of the coastline from the elevated position. 

The entrance to the property leads you into a spacious hallway with plenty of room to store coats and wellies after a day of adventuring. Adjacent to the hallway you will find a large open plan, living, dining and kitchen space.

The sleek kitchen is fully-equipped with everything you could need for the duration of your stay, whether you need to whip up a hearty breakfast or a family feast. The kitchen provides a hob, oven, toaster, microwave, kettle  as well as a complete set of tableware and glassware. There is also a convenient utility space which houses a fridge/freezer as well as laundry facilities. 

Within the kitchen space there is a dining table with comfortable upholstered seating, with additional chairs available to accommodate up to six occupants.

Moving past the dining area, you are welcomed into a snug living space with a fresh coastal palette and comfortable soft furnishings. Patio doors open out to the garden, and the living room also benefits from the views out towards the coastline so you can catch the beautiful sunsets from the comfort of your own chair. The sofa converts into a double bed which does allow the property to accommodate two additional persons, as required. This is an ideal solution for those who may be travelling with teenagers or older children. The living space features a widescreen Smart TV where guests can access a range of Sky channels should you opt for a cosy night in.

Bedroom one is located on the ground floor and offers a double bed as well as easy access to the main bathroom which features a large walk-in shower and a separate bathtub. Upstairs to the first floor of the property is the master bedroom, this bright and airy space benefits from Velux windows which flood the room with natural light and sea breezes. The room is decorated with plush furnishings and features ample storage for luggage. 

Porth Ed View has excellent transport links, with very close connections to both Newquay Airport and Newquay Train Station, that could be undertaken in a taxi.

• Please note that travel cots and highchairs can be made available upon request at no additional cost. 
• Porth Ed View does accept pets so you are welcome to bring along your furry friends but please note there is a pet fee of £50 applicable. 
• Parking is available at the front of the property with space for a few vehicles
• There is a security deposit of £250 payable for the property, however, this is fully refundable upon satisfactory inspection of the property post-stay.
