Originally built in 1875, The Inn at John O’Groats, once the original hotel, has been lovingly restored and now features a bold Norse-inspired extension that adds vibrant colour to the wild coastal landscape. Inside, heritage charm blends with modern style and convenience, creating an award-winning, welcoming retreat that honours its rich history and timeless appeal to adventurous travellers

The Inn at John O’Groats boasts bespoke self-catering apartments, each offering its own individual character, with all the high-quality facilities and luxuries that you would expect from Together Travel.

The perfect base for small families, Goldseeker apartment boasts a stylish living area with two inviting sofas, plush furnishings, and a flat-screen TV, perfect for cosy evenings in. The floor to ceiling windows provides an incredible vantage point for guests to enjoy far-reaching views of the dramatic John O’Groats coastline 

The open-plan layout features a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, complete with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, and coffee machine. For added convenience, a washing machine is also included.

Two comfortable bedrooms are ready to welcome you.

• Bedroom 1: The spacious master bedroom features a plush king-sized bed for a restful night’s sleep, along with hanging storage and bedside tables.
• Bedroom 2: Features another king-size room with plush soft furnishings.

A family bathroom serves the apartment and offers a bath with an over-bath shower as well as complimentary toiletries to make your stay as convenient as possible.

Linens, a hairdryer, iron, and ironing board are also provided.

Arrival Information…

Our properties at John O'Groats have bespoke check-in times, that reflect the unique nature of the site, and how it's operated. John O'Groats welcomes guests to check-in daily between 4pm -9pm. Any arrivals outside of these designated hours will incur a mandatory early or late -arrival fee of £50. This can be pre-booked at the time of making your reservation. If you anticipate an early or late arrival, please inform our concierge team during the reservation process or during your pre-arrival call with our operations team.
