Designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings, The Tree Lodge offers a warm, inviting interior with a contemporary woodland aesthetic. Enjoy a roaring log burning stove as you sip a well-earned cup of cocoa, following a day of adventure on the estate.

Kitchen

The Tree Lodge features a fully equipped kitchen with gas hobs, making it easy to prepare simple meals during your stay. A cool box is provided to keep food and drinks fresh, while a rustic kitchen sink with running water adds practical comfort whilst remaining close to nature.

Dining

A cosy, dedicated dining area within the open‑plan space offers an intimate setting for breakfast, lunch, or a glass of wine among the treetops. A picnic table also offers the options for al fresco dining during the warmer months. 

Sleeping Accommodation

The Tree Lodge’s bedroom layout reflects the cosy togetherness of camping with the refined comforts of glamping – a comfy mattress, that is!

• 1 King Bed on the top level where guests can enjoy the star through a Velux window
• 1 Double Bed on the middle level
• 2 Single Beds on the lower level – perfect for young children

Luxury Amenities

• Spacious en-suite bathroom with gas-powered hot water showers. Guests also have access to an additional shower block with four individual showers and two family showers. Toiletries are available to purchase.

Outdoor Living

• Private Decking: Step outside onto your private deck, where you can enjoy morning coffee, quiet reflection, or evening drinks immersed in the sights and sounds of the woodland.
• Private Hot Tub: Log‑fired hot tub, perfect for soaking in warm bubbles under the open sky.
• Relax: Outdoor deck chairs, a picnic table, and a hammock suspended between the trees offer plenty of ways to relax and absorb the surrounding nature.
• Fire Pit: Enjoy access to the tipi‑covered fire pit, available subject to availability. 
• Woodland Sauna: Relax in the woodland sauna, open daily from 2pm to 6pm.
• Parking: There is a designated parking bay behind each Tree Lodge.

Pet-Friendly Stays

Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement (additional charges apply). With miles of woodland trails, open parkland, and dedicated estate walks, The Tree Lodge is an ideal retreat for guests travelling with their four‑legged companions. Dogs are also welcome in the Terrace Restaurant at the Swinton Estate hotel and Swinton Bivouac Café.

Amenities

Guests of the Tree Lodges are welcome to unwind in the Residents’ Lounge, a cosy indoor space offering complimentary tea and coffee, along with electric charging points to help you relax and recharge.

You can also enjoy the nearby Bivouac Café, with its locally sourced menu, making it ideal for a light lunch, an evening meal, or a well‑earned coffee and cake after a countryside walk. Families are well catered for, with a ground‑floor family room filled with toys and games, as well as outdoor play equipment including swings and a toddler climbing frame.
