Home beach is one of Norfolk's best kept secrets. Just a short walk from the grounds at Whitehall Farm, this dog-friendly beach is more secluded than some of its neighbours, making for peaceful, scenic strolls. Surrounded by golden sands and rustling dunes, this vast swathe of the coast is perfect for beach games and building sandcastles. You can also treat yourself to a cooling drink from the kisok which opens seasonally, while you take in the glorious sunsets.

For those looking for a more action packed family day out, Hunstanton is just a 10 minute drive away and here you can find the Sea Life Centre where you can discover all kinds of wonderful creatures from small fish to sea lions. You can keep the kids busy with a trip to Blackbeards Adventure Golf where they can try their luck at a hole in one.

Whitehall Barn is also the perfect location for anyone with a keen interest in local wildlife. With a number of incredible nature reserves nearby, Holme-next-the-Sea gives visitors the opportunity to see nature at its best. Most notably the RSPB Reserve in Titchwell is just a 10 minute drive away and affords the chance to see an array of migratory and wading birds.

If you wish to enjoy the stunning landscape at a faster pace you can hire a gravel bike from Open Sky Cycles, or for those who want to keep their feet firmly one the ground there are a number of breathtaking walking trails in the area such as the Hunstanton Circular  or the Norfolk Coast, Ringsetad and the Peddards Way.

When the time comes to relax with a drink and a bite to eat at the end of a busy day, you'll find The White Horse right on your doorstep; a charming coastal pub that has been welcoming holidaymakers and their four-legged friends for centuries. Here you can tuck into seasonal specialties and sample your favourite tipple.

Stock up on essential supplies and treats at the local farm shop, Drove Orchards, showcasing the very best of local produce including fresh Apple juice, pressed and bottled on site amongst forty acres of beautiful orchards.
