A beautifully converted double-terraced retreat, blending coastal charm with contemporary living in the heart of Brancaster; one of Norfolk’s most beloved fishing villages.

Tennyson Cottage offers the perfect balance of spacious entertaining areas and "hygge" comfort. Originally two traditional terraces, this unique property has been opened up to create a light-filled, stylish coastal escape. While it comfortably sleeps eight, the cottage maintains a warm, intimate atmosphere that makes it equally inviting for smaller groups or romantic off-season retreats.

The Living Spaces

The ground floor is designed for socialising and relaxation:

• Kitchen & Dining: A spacious, contemporary kitchen features solid wood worktops, high-end appliances, including a dishwasher, oven and microwave, and a large dining table that serves as the heart of the home. French doors lead directly out to the rear terrace for seamless indoor-outdoor living.
• The Snug & Lounge: Two generous living rooms overlook the front garden, both featuring cosy wood-burners. Whether you’re settling in for a movie night with the Freeview TV/DVD or finding a quiet corner for a book, there is ample space for everyone. The Snug offers a sofa which can be made into a sofa bed upon request (additional charges apply)
• The Practicalities: A dedicated utility and laundry room provides a second large fridge and the perfect "boot room" space for drying off muddy paws and sandy wellies. This leads to a modern downstairs shower room with the added luxury of underfloor heating.

Rest & Relaxation

Upstairs, the cottage offers versatile sleeping arrangements across four well-appointed bedrooms:

• Bedroom 1: King-sized bed which can be split into singles upon request. Views over the terrace and garden.
• Bedroom 2: Super king-sized bed. Located at the front of the house with incredible sea and marsh views.
• Bedroom 3: Super king-sized bed. Located at the front of the house with incredible sea and marsh views.
• Bedroom 4: Twin Room which is bright and airy room overlooking the rear garden, ideal for children or friends.
• Family Bathroom: A clean, modern suite featuring a bath with an overhead shower.

Outside

The front garden is spacious, turfed, and fully enclosed—perfect for pets—and can be accessed directly from one of the sitting rooms. At the rear, an enclosed terrace offers seating for eight and a gas BBQ for relaxed outdoor dining. Beyond the terrace is a large lawned garden, providing plenty of space for the whole family to enjoy.

Pet Friendly Stays

We know that four-legged friends are part of the family. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to join you on your North Norfolk adventure. We kindly ask that they remain on the ground floor and off the furniture to keep the cottage pristine for all guests. Tennyson Cottage accepts a maximum of two dogs and please not that fee do apply. £20 for one dog and £30 for two dogs.

Security Deposit

A security deposit of £250 is payable on booking the property but this is fully refundable upon satisfactory inspection following departure.
