Luxury Floating Pods in Tattenhall Marina, Cheshire

The setting in itself is a draw. Just eight miles south of Chester, Tattenhall is a lovely village in the heart of the countryside. Here, you’ll find the “World’s Largest Ice-cream shop”, the Cheshire Ice Cream farm, or you can head further out to visit Chester Zoo and Cholmondeley Castle, with its elegant gardens. There’s plenty to explore within the city walls of Chester, where the charming streets yield access not only to independent shops and artisan cafes, but also a Roman amphitheatre. There are also gorgeous Roman gardens featuring a miniature railway and adventure playground. During the summer months, you can visit these gardens for open air cinema, live theatre, and concerts. If a river outing is more to your liking, head to the River Dee for a leisurely cruise or a day spent rowing yourself about and checking out the architecture on the riverbanks. You will also find an impressive suspension bridge you can cross to walk through the meadows or take in some live music on the riverbanks. After a day out and about, retreat to a floating pod at Tattenhall Marina. Floating on the marina, these glass fronted pods hold a contemporary double bedroom, living area with sofa bed, bathroom, and kitchenette, and they offer a beautiful view of Peckforton Castle. Some of our pods are even pet friendly!
