Originally built in 1875, The Inn at John O’Groats (once the original John O'Groats hotel) has been carefully restored over the past two years and has had a new Norse style extension added which provides a dramatic splash of colour against the coastal landscape. The interior combines high quality old and new styling in keeping with the marriage of the historic former hotel and the eye catching new extension.

This exceptional, and quirky one bedroom penthouse apartment features inspiring 180 degree views of the Pentland Firth. The penthouse apartment has been designed over two floors, connected via a wooden spiral staircase so care should be taken by those travelling with babies or young infants., The bedroom and freestanding copper bath are located on the top floor, and a modern living area, fully-equipped kitchen, wet-room style bathroom on the lower floor. 

Facilities include free Wi-Fi, flat screen LED television, DVD player, electric hob and oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, kettle & toaster, iron & ironing board, hairdryer, natural toiletries, linen and towels. Please note this apartment does not have a washing machine.
