We've compiled a list of all the spas in North Wales, where you can truly unwind and relax with massages, saunas and swimming pools. Some of the spas are a short drive from our Llyn Peninsula cottages, so if you're staying at one of our sea-view retreats, an afternoon spent at a spa followed by a walk on the beach is highly recommended.

THE MERMAID SPA, PORTMEIRION
Located in the mysterious Portmeirion village, The Mermaid Spa is set around Italian style architecture and gardens, built by Welsh architect Clough Williams-Ellis from 1925 to 1973. Entry in to the village is included with all spa packages, spend a day exploring the site, wandering the trails and having lunch before your relaxation begins.

THE KINMEL & KINSPA HOTEL & SPA
Located at the top of North Wales, near the village of Abergele, the spa is surrounded by countryside and has a relaxation room which looks out over the fields and the ocean. As well as the spa treatments, The Kinmel & Kinspa also boasts a hydrotherapy pool, nine metre leisure pool, sauna, aromatherapy steam room and a drench bucket shower.

THE WHITE HOUSE SPA

THE WARREN SPA, ABERSOCH
Located just a 15 minute drive from our self-catering Llyn Peninsula cottages, The Warren Spa has an indoor hydrotherapy pool, an outdoor relaxation area and plenty of opportunities to unwind. The Warren also has a larger outdoor swimming pool, however this is separate from the spa so if you do wish to use it please enquire when booking your spa treatments.

TRE-YSGAWEN SPA, ANGLESEY
The spa is based at The Ysgawen Country House & Hall, which was originally built as one of the country’s grand mansions in 1882. It is still considered one of the finest country houses in Wales and has been awarded The Visit Wales Gold Award every year since 2010. In addition to the spa treatments and swimming pool, the spa also boasts a new thermal suite, with an experience shower, an Ice Fountain and a Salt Inhalation Therapy Room.

The spa doesn't have a swimming pool but they do have incredible grounds which spa guests are encouraged to explore - you may even bump in to one of their resident peacocks!
