    At Together Travel we strive for inclusivity for all, believing that luxury accommodation in breath-taking surroundings should be something everyone can enjoy.

    Some of our locations are fully accessible, as well as wheelchair friendly and our concierge team are able to assist you with any of your needs or requirements. Our fantastic team go above and beyond to help and have even arranged oxygen and breathing equipment on-site in the past, as well as wheelchair deliveries and other necessities.

    Furthermore, service dogs are welcomed at the vast majority of our properties, where our pet-friendly policy is welcoming and inclusive.

    Trewhiddle | South Cornwall

    A proportion of our holiday cottages in Cornwall are fully accessible for wheelchair users. 

    • Some of the villas have level access with bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor, and outdoor decks.
    • The extremely large showers make disabled use much easier and have become popular with guests with mobility issues.

    The Surrounding Area

    The nearby Eden Project is well equipped for those with mobility or sensory impairments too, with an army of volunteers on standby to make your visit unforgettable and smooth throughout. The neighbouring Lost Gardens of Heligan can also provide accessible maps and wheelchair/mobility scooter loans, in order to explore their incredible botanical wonderland.

     

    John O Groats | Scotland

    Our location at JOG is predominantly level with no stepped features in the common areas. In addition, we have accessible features in both the inn and the lodges.

    • 2 of the glass-fronted lodges are equipped for those with accessibility issues, including flat entrances, grab rails in the bathrooms and the internal layout has circulation spaces around the units.
    • The Inn Ground Floor Apartment (1 Bedroom Studio) is also an accessible travel location, including a bathroom with grab rails, non-slip flooring and outward opening doors that are suitable for wheelchairs.

    The Surrounding Area

    The Inn apartment has spectacular sea views from the lounge, kitchen, bedroom and dining area, so if a relaxing break away from it all is what you desire, JOG can deliver. Much of John O’Groats is paved so it’s easy to get around in a wheelchair or mobility scooter and the iconic JOG sign and Storehouse are less than 100m from the Inn.

     

    Richmond | The Yorkshire Dales

    Our glass-fronted luxury log cabins in Yorkshire are an absolute favourite amongst guests, allowing you to fully re-connect with the natural world.

    • The accommodation is single level floor plan with no internal stairs at any of the properties.
    • The open-plan family style units have a spacious main bathroom with a level access shower i.e. no tray.
    • The lodges are accessible via a ramp without any steps, however please be aware they are accessed via gravel pathways so may not be fully wheelchair accessible.

    The Surrounding Area

    The epic woodland views through the full-length glass windows and incredible sunsets mean relaxing on the sofa has never felt so good. The charming town of Richmond is easily accessible too.

     

    Fistral Beach | Cornwall

    • Both apartments are lift-accessible from the ground floor, with flat surfaces and large bathrooms throughout.
    • Penthouse A in particular is incredibly spacious with superb views over the dazzling Cornish seas

    Newquay Zoo is widely wheelchair accessible with reduced rates for disabled visitors and their carers.

     

    Lews Castle | Scotland

    • Portrona is our beautiful, wheelchair accessible apartment at Lews Castle, based on the first floor and accessed via a lift from the ground floor. The bathroom has facilities such as hand rails, a shower seat, a detachable shower head, full-length mirror and emergency pull cord.
    • There are disabled public bathrooms on the ground floor, adjacent to the Storehouse Café, with level access to most ground floor public areas.

    The castle grounds are spectacular and inside you will find exquisite décor, food and a beautiful harbour-facing living room.

     

    Nature’s Point | Llyn Peninsula | Wales

    • A selection of the new build cottages are designed to be accessible and compliant with the ability to upgrade features as required in terms of size and wheelchair access. They also have parking directly next to the property.
    • All doorways on the new builds are over 900mm wide.

    The Surrounding Area

    There are incredible sea views from site, as well as peaceful and relaxing communal gardens to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Porth Nefyn Beach is just 5 minutes away and Abersoch’s Main Beach is 20 minutes away; they both have wheelchair access via a slipway.
