Nefyn & District Golf Club

Located just 10 minutes away from our Llŷn Peninsula retreat, this exquisite course which will keep the golf buffs in your family happy. The courses are kept in exemplary condition, all year round, with quick greens and fairways. What’s more, you get to play along the coastline, so prepare yourself for some sensational views. To polish off a great day, why not enjoy some food on the terrace and marvel at the sunset? 


Porthpean Golf Club

One of the most loved golf courses in Cornwall is just a 5 minute drive from the villas and cottages at Trewhiddle. Combining woodland beauty and breath-taking sea views, this challenging course cannot be missed while staying at Trewhiddle. After playing, enjoy a Cornish Cream Tea and refreshments in The Clubhouse which overlooks St. Austell Bay. 

Thurso Golf Club

If you’ve made the lengthy journey to John O’Groats and you enjoy a spot of golf, you can’t miss taking a trip to Thurso Golf Club. Located at the tip of the Highlands, play the beautiful game while taking in the inspiring views of Pentland Firth and the Orkney Isles. For those who enjoy playing in strong winds, you will love this haven! Beginner players receive a warm welcome, and the club even host a ‘Get into Golf’ programme. Castle Stuart Golf Club

Located on the southern shores of Moray Firth, between Inverness and Nairn at Castle Stuart. The course is thoughtfully designed using the most modern techniques, incorporating innovative mounding to ensure that holes are played in isolation from the rest. The course has an endearing natural feel and the best part? It’s located nearby to our ‘handpicked’ Canalside Cottages, which are dotted along the Caledonian Canal. A perfect addition to the already glowing golfing crown of Scotland!


Richmond Golf Club

This 18 hole golf course is full of Yorkshire charm and just 7 minutes’ drive away from our Yorkshire Dales retreat. Although not overly long, the course is still a fun challenge for golfers. Situated amongst the Yorkshire farmland this is the perfect place to play while taking in the beautiful views, visitors comment that the fairways and greens are excellently kept. 


Stornoway Golf Club

On the door step of the luxurious Lews Castle you cannot miss Stornoway Golf Club. The 18-hole golf course is both well designed and maintained, boasting mesmerising views of Stornoway Harbour and the Minch. A sociable and friendly club, visitors can rest assured to be greeted with a warm welcome. Don’t worry if you’d prefer to leave your golf clubs at home, as you can hire clubs and trolleys from The Clubhouse. Visitors can also make use of practice nets, short-game practice areas, putting green and locker rooms. 


Newquay Beach Golf Club

While staying at our Fistral Beach apartments, the golf enthusiasts should consider a visit to this course, located around the corner from our apartments. Running parallel to the renowned surfing spot, Fistral Beach, this is one of the finest links course Cornwall has to offer. The picturesque, Harry Colt designed, 18-hole course is suitable for both beginners and the more competitive golfers.
