About Children’s Cookery Courses at Swinton Estate
Held at the Swinton Cookery School, these playful and seasonal classes bring cooking to life for children and teenagers of all abilities. From imaginative themed bakes such as Halloween “Mummies’ Fingers” to sweet treats like “Lemon Kisses” for Valentine’s Day, each session offers something new and exciting.
With expert guidance throughout, participants are encouraged to get involved in every step of the process, mixing, baking and decorating, while developing independence and pride in their creations.
At the end of the session, each child leaves not only with their delicious bakes, but also the skills and confidence to recreate recipes at home.

- Mini Chefs (ages 6–9 years): £65 per person
- Junior Chefs (ages 10–14 years): £75 per person
- Teenage Chefs (ages 15–19 years): £125 per person
Session Times
- Mini Chefs: 10:00am – 12:00pm
- Junior Chefs: 2:00pm – 4:30pm
- Teenage Chefs: 10:00am – 1:30pm
During each course, participants will enjoy lunch made from the dishes they have prepared.
