We also offer guests the option of purchasing a holiday home via Together Travel and currently have a portfolio of private homeowners, whose holiday homes are under long-term operational management contracts.

Role overview

The Sales and Revenue Manager leads and supports our small Sales team and is responsible for establishing revenue targets and the fulfilment of guest bookings across all channels. This includes direct web bookings, telephone enquiries and third-party distribution channels. They are responsible for continually reviewing the yield on a property and site level basis; and establishing an appropriate pricing strategy. As well as the overall responsibility for revenue management, the role requires a close collaboration with our marketing team and site teams, alongside communication with homeowners or other stakeholders in the business.

Being a small company, the role therefore requires a manager who can be both strategic and when required, also be hands on in supporting the holiday sales team.

Day to day responsibilities

  • Determine and review the Revenue strategy for each site, making adjustments to reflect demand, seasonal variations and local influences
  • Regular liaison with site managers regarding guest satisfaction, owner feedback, sales levels, local aspects and working together to drive revenue
  • Regular collaboration with our marketing team
  • To motivate and manage the sales team day to day, coaching and training them to drive their sales levels
  • To compile weekly and monthly reports, taking responsibility for all resulting actions
  • Working with and managing relationships with 3rd party distribution channels to increase sales
  • Constantly tracking sales against targets and adjusting prices, marketing efforts, minimum night stays etc accordingly
  • Supporting the operations team with the on-boarding of new homeowners and new property recruitment.
  • Resolving any guest or owner relation issues that may be escalated from the team or site management teams
  • Developing and linking systems and distribution channels to ease the customer journey whilst maximising revenue options.

About you

We are looking for a broad skillset-someone who is commercially minded, a strong communicator, good at analysis and someone who is sales driven. Candidates will have experience in revenue and/or inventory management in a travel or leisure related business. We need you to be committed to supporting your team to deliver outstanding results. Successful candidates will be strong at building successful working relationships with colleagues and third parties and ideally have experience of Supercontrol and exposure to distribution channels.
